Jan. 31, 2026 – Huge kudos to the Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 316, for pulling off an incredible night. It was truly all hands on deck, and it showed. The barbecue was delicious, the raffle prizes were a hit (congrats to JC, Mary, Bea, and Tom), and the live music sealed the deal—Zack Lukens rocked it, with Back Alley Cadillac bringing the night home in style. Thank you to every volunteer who made it happen and to everyone who came out to support. Great food, great music, great people—now that’s a successful night!
December 8, 2025 – Squadron 316 Commander Denny Luke presented a $500 check to Unit 316 President Liz Hill in support of their Girls State program. Every year Unit 316 is proud to send several young ladies to Tallahassee to learn about the duties, privileges, rights and responsibilities of American citizenship in order that they may understand and participate in the
functioning of their government.
October 18, 2025 – Post 316 had the privilege to be the end stop of the Road Rally sponsored by Squadron 37, St. Augustine, to benefit Special Olympics Florida. Squadron 316 Commander Denny Luke and Squadron Chaplain Lester Verrette were there to welcome the participants with a donation check.
August 8, 2025 – A huge thank you to our fantastic volunteers Kevin, Linda, and Glenn for making Squadron 316’s Friday Steak Night possible and successful! Events like this help us raise the funds that power our programs and support our mission.
June 21, 2025 – Installation of Officers for the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 316. Commander Denny Luke, Vice Commander Tom Mari, Chaplain Lester Verrette.
